Portco user experience: Knowledge base and directory

 

Overview

This article provides a walkthrough of what  users will see when accessing the Portco portal—specifically the Data Collection, Knowledge Base, and Portco Directory tabs. It also covers how users can navigate and interact with these sections.


Portal Layout for Portco Users

Once logged into the portal, Portco users will see three main tabs in the top navigation bar and sidebar:

  1. Data Collection

  2. Knowledge Base

  3. Portco Directory

Each tab provides quick access to key features and content published by admin users.


1. Data Collection Tab

  • This is where users will find their assigned workflows.

  • Each workflow displays:

    • Assigned KPIs

    • Status indicators

    • Due dates and submission options


2. Knowledge Base Tab

The Knowledge Base tab displays all articles published by admins. Portco users can:

  • Browse all available articles

  • Filter by date or category

  • Search by keywords to quickly locate relevant content

This section serves as a self-service resource center for guidance, FAQs, and workflow support.


3. Portco Directory Tab

  • Displays contact information and role-based listings of other Portco users or stakeholders.

  • Portco users can filter by category to find the relevant contact.

  • The interface mirrors the admin-side view for consistency.

This feature helps streamline communication across portfolio entities.
